Description |
A tonal, post-romantic style piece (~6 mins.). The title alludes to a Greek Myth, as found in Thebaid by Statius (Naples 130 AD) (and many other writings), of a man who, by playing a song on his lyre, caused rocks and boulders, from all around, to roll up to his city of Thebes, Greece and magically form themselves into a perfectly constructed city-wall. |
